Lauren Katherine Mitchell

Lauren Mitchell is a conceptual mixed media photographer, specialising in studio portraiture. Her work explores various topics, focussing on mental illness and trauma through personal lived experience. She tackles difficult subject matter and  interrogates typical representation of femininity. Her style  consists of soft and delicate imagery, incorporating flowers and pastel colours. Lauren hopes that her work will lead viewers to challenge their perceptual frameworks, philosophy and  psychology being a key inspiration in her work.
