Lisa Thompson

I work as a full time education professional and have illustrated in my spare time for the last 10 years. 

I am about to complete my MA in Fine Art where I branched into Virtual Reality, sculpture, video and installation work. My practice focuses on our relationship between identity and perceived truth in a digital world, leading to the use of abstract forms.

I believe that encouraging the creative arts in the community is vital for the well being and development of adults and young people.

I have worked with Live Theatre, illustrating the stories that key stage 2 and 3 children write as part of their Live Tales workshop.

I currently work in partnership with Crisis UK delivering soft sculpture workshops. (**Due to COVID-19 these have been postponed**)
