Louisa Travers

Hello! My name is Louisa Travers and I am an up and coming media producer, director, actress and photographer with a diverse range of experiences to bring to the table.

 Currently, I am pursuing a Screen Performance degree at Sunderland University and will graduate in June 2023. Whilst undertaking my degree my focus and passion shifted somewhat away from acting and towards the production of media. During my degree, I have actively sought out opportunities to expand my skill set and gain experience in various fields of media production. I have produced client led adverts, show reels, music videos and documentaries. I have taken the opportunity to produce, edit, and perform in a 30-minute radio play, which allowed me to develop my writing, acting, and technical skills.

I have directed a live studio recorded drama with a large cast, honing my organizational and communication skills while also developing my leadership capabilities.  I have also produced and directed several short films, which have provided me with a deeper understanding of storytelling and visual communication. Lastly, I have performed in various productions, which have enabled me to hone my acting skills and develop my creativity.

All of these experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in media production. I have learned how to collaborate with others to achieve a common goal, to manage my time efficiently, and to stay organized under pressure. I believe that these skills will be invaluable as I continue to pursue a career in the media industry, and I look forward to taking on new challenges and continuing to grow as a media professional.
