Lucas Black

I have always loved creating, and making art from a very young age, so as I grew up it was very clear early on what I wanted to do, as not only as a hobby but as my career. I am currently studying art and design at college and intend to continue my studies by studying illustration at Cardiff University next year.

I pride myself on being an adaptable artist; I'm open to working in many different mediums, I enjoy working with many techniques; including pencil to paper, embroidery and painting.

I am inspired by many forms of media and artistry, such as Anime and Games, but also things that we see in every day life from book covers, to buildings and cars. 

I really enjoy illustrating and sketching out different ideas or doing studies in order to better my understanding of forms while focusing on a piece. 

I'm interested in working with individuals that have creative and fantastical ideas that feel like I, as an artist could bring to life, things that might get a conversation started or something that you can look at in awe.
