PERSONAL STATMENT 

my name is lucie jackson, i am 18 and study level 3dance at leeds city college.

Dance, for me, is more than just movement; it is a powerful form of expression that transcends boundaries and connects individuals on a deeper level. From my earliest days as a student, I have dedicated myself to mastering various dance styles, including contemporary, lyrical, urban, commercial, jazz, tap and musical theatre continuously expanding my technical proficiency, and refining my artistry. This commitment has not only shaped my physical abilities but has also instilled within me a profound understanding of the transformative impact that dance can have on one's life. I have also been fortunate enough to perform in not only college and dance school shows but also performed at Blackpool tower and on a west end stage.
