My career has been significantly influenced with the development of computer graphics. My tool set has changed from pen and ink, airbrush and CS10 to Photoshop retouching, compositing in After Effects and 3D modelling and rendering in Cinema 4D. It's been such an exciting time to be a creative! I have embraced the progress of CGI during the past 30 years. The significant changes in working methods have gained recognition for my CGI work from industry bodies such as the AOI (Association of Illustrators) being jury-selected for the last-in-print “Best of British Illustration” book. My illustration and animation also features on the reels for Outstanding 3D Motion Graphics and Animation created by major UK companies using MAXON’s CINEMA 4D software. I continue to research and develop new CGI techniques and relish briefs which push the boundaries of the software.
