Nathan Bennett

Hello, my name is Nathan and I am a young bassist currently studying at South Essex College for Music Performance And Production but soon to be moving on to study at Waterbear University in Brighton. Throughout my current music career I have performed at some fantastic venues which include: The Essex Arms, Chinnery’s, Hope & Anchor, Concorde 2 and the iconic 100 Club to name but a few. I am a self taught bass player of 4 years and I am very lucky to be surrounded by a lot of experienced and talented musicians including some quite well known bass players such as: Suzi Quatro and Horace Panter from The Specials. I am also mentored by P. H. Mitchell who is the bassist from the band Dr Feelgood and I have regular bass lessons/jams with him at his home studio. My favourite genre of music to play is Blues/Ska/Indie but I am very versitile and can turn my hand to most genres of music. Regards playing I am easy to get on with, a very quick learner and have been told I always bring my own influences and style to any piece of music, be it covers or originals, when they are put in front of me.
