I trained on saxophone but now play keyboards more often. I also love being a backing vocalist, especially when I get to shout. I love a fruity organ riff, gnarly synth line, delicate piano plinks or a middle eight that goes somewhere weird. Inside I'm a frustrated noise guitarist who accidentally learnt ‘proper’ instruments, and picked up music technology along the way as way of getting ideas down and making things louder. I've had ProTools Training, but tend to use Logic Pro and Adobe Audition these days on a regular basis. I know my way around a DAW and a live mixing desk.
