Oxygen Films

First established in Leeds in 2016 by aspiring filmmakers, Oxygen is a boundary-pushing and provocative production company. At every level, we champion, embody and amplify the underrepresented and unheard in our community. We constantly aim to forge a new and safe space for emerging and visionary creatives – both in front of and behind the camera – and in the stories we tell we continue to break ground by exploring and sharing challenging and taboo subjects. 

Created using entirely self-funded budgets and in-kind support, our films have received critical acclaim and have won important awards internationally, as well as found a home in the hearts of some of the most vulnerable and excluded from society. By supporting Oxygen, you help us in our tireless fight to create real change in our community and the film industry, providing a nurturing and encouraging environment for the next generation of film and creative talent.
