Rebecca Gill

As a 3rd year student on the BA (Hons) Costume Construction course at University Centre South Essex coming to the final stage of my studies, I am extremely excited to progress into my professional career as a costume maker. 

My time on my degree has encouraged me to explore my creative mind, as well as build skills essential in the professional workplace. I have developed great sewing techniques, pattern drafting, high standards, problem solving skills and most importantly, confidence. 

I am a dedicated, motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual, hoping to develop my professional skills and experience in the costume industry. My previous experience as a dresser at The Queens Theatre Hornchurch has introduced me to the workings of theatrical productions and inspired me further to create costumes that help to convey emotion, portray a character and tell a story.
