My name is Rebecca, i am 18 and i am from the uk.  I enjoy video games, reading, writing, drawing and music! I am fond of The smiths, The cure, Tv girl and Sterophonics.

I am an ambitious, hard-working lover of Media. I have always enjoyed film, music and art throughout my life and these have shaped me into the person I am today.My idea generation goes all over the place and my mind just flows with different ideas of what I could create and show off to the world! I love executing the ideas I'm capable of actually creating.I have created numerous creative pieces such as my own animated music videos, stop motions, trailers and my own awareness campaigns which were all a great success, which I produced by myself. I also have my own online photography accounts to display my work in a public forum.I thoroughly love all of the creative freedom I get from doing the course I currently am on and wish to proceed higher to gain a career within the media industry. I am not set on my chosen job yet, however, I am interested in the following; a director of film, a creative writer or potentially a social media manager, as I have a very good grasp at how to gain attention to posts, how algorithms work and what the best time would be to post while also considering an international audience due to having a small social media presence in 2017-2020 where I would post edited videos I created and gained a decent following of around 4k followers at the time.During this time, I taught myself how to use the programme, After Effects, as well as other editing software, such as, Premier Pro and Photoshop. I use these programmes in my productions to create smooth transitions by using the graphs, how to use magic bullet looks and create my own colourings for videos and how to create basic 3D experiments for particles.I believe that media can shape and move us in a lot of different and exciting ways and it has been my life's goal to create something that I know would influence the world around me. Due to my experience on social media (having grown up in the digital age) I have a genuine and deep understanding of how social media can influence and affect others, which interests me enormously. My love of film has also enabled me to have a deeper and richer understanding of why certain aspects and elements are important to convey, particularly in aspects such as, Mise-en-scene and camera working to convey messages to an audience.I understand the importance of meeting deadlines and being punctual due to balancing studying and working part time and thus I have developed good time management skills as working part time and being in full time education is sometimes a challenge to balance alongside a good social life!As I have produced and directed numerous works throughout my time at collage, I have gained great managerial skills which I developed whilst creating my own projects or helping alongside my teammates.All of these experiences and skills have helped me in a lot of ways in my working and educational life and it was learned by hard work and sacrifice.I have gone through many hardships during the past couple of years as I have lost very close family members in short amounts of time which has fuelled my desire to be the best I can at my work and make them and myself proud of the work I end up creating in my journey through this career.
