My practice as an image maker focuses on subtle visual storytelling through still-image, primarily through cover artwork and visual design for music. Inspired by the Symbolist movement my work explores themes of spirituality and the esoteric, aiming to suggest a greater narrative instead of concretely depict one. Most recently I have fictionally situated my work within history and real-world narratives - as seen in the ‘Relic’ project - to investigate and challenge the idea of visual authenticity. In using multiple processes such as traditional illustration, design, and photography, the narrative’s intent often determines the chosen method of communication.
