Sharon Gollan

After studying at Edinburgh in the 1980s, I returned to the North East of England where my creative practice is very much based in local culture, heritage, and community. Linocut is my preferred medium although my interest in printmaking covers monotype, screen printing and etching. I continue to exhibit, to run workshops and events, and take commissions on request. I also provide printmaking workshops from my studio at the Biscuit Tin Studios based in the Ouseburn Valley, at the heart of the cultural quarter in Newcastle upon Tyne.
