In my work, I am inspired by the LGBTQ+ community, and youth culture, this means that my work is colourful, vibrant and modern. Drag queen costumes and outrageous streetwear for gender non conformists are my main interest and my goal is to create a brand that focuses on those themes. My work uses colour and print to create something that will stand out amongst a crowd. Screen printing is my preferred technique because it feels more organic and personal than digital print which is something I like to achieve in all of my work. In my final project at university, I have used illustration and print design to showcase a collection intended for pride festivals and drag performers. I have explored the concepts of freedom of expression and individuality in an attempt to encourage people to have fun with fashion and be who they want to be.
