Denis Horodnic

I am currently studying acting in my final year at Leeds City College. I am originally from Romania but am now living in England and speak the language fluently. I am very passionate about acting and voice acting and planning to study Higher Education at a University. I am a quick learner which puts me one step ahead when it comes to learning lines; learning a new choreography;  and memorizing cues.

 I am very disciplined and always ready to work. I have been studying Performing Arts at Leeds City College for 4 years and been in 6 performances including extra curricular activities where I performed a performance at different venues. I performed the character of The Narrator in a performance called “The Twits” and I performed in the Chroma-Q Theatre at Leeds City College. Another performance that I’ve been in was a Spiking devising based performance where I played the character of a boy that has been accused of spiking. We toured with this performance to different highschools like Leeds City Academy. I have Performed at Leeds Playhouse for a dance festival called “Fresh” on the main stage with a dance group Kickoff Boys.

I am a very acrobatic person, being able to do backflips, front flips and really good at performing stage combat. My main attribute is that I can take on any challenge and work to the best of my ability to achieve success and am  always ready to try new things. My goal is to improve as an actor and enhance my skills. I would like to work in a professional environment and hopefully to make it to Hollywood in the future. I want to enhance and polish my skills as an acrobat, learn new tricks and expand my knowledge and diversity.
