As I’m nearing the end of my college journey, I’m incredibly excited about diving into the world of cameras and production. Before I grab that diploma, I’m on a mission to gather as much real-world experience behind the lens as possible. Why? Because I truly believe that building a killer portfolio and showreel now will be my ticket to a future as a sought-after camera operator.Throughout my college years, I’m grabbing every opportunity to work on different projects. Whether it's collaborating on student films or teaming up with passionate creators, I'm absorbing every bit of knowledge and skill I can. I thrive on the unique challenges each project brings, constantly pushing myself to grow and refine my craft.I’m hustling hard to snag internships, side gigs, and shadowing opportunities with local production outfits. I’m even volunteering at events or organizations that need filming support. Networking is key—I’m connecting with professors, mentors, and industry pros, knowing that every connection might lead to a valuable opportunity.My end goal? To create a showreel that not only showcases my technical skills but also tells the story of my journey and growth. I believe that this visual narrative will speak volumes to future employers and clients, revealing not just what I can do but also who I am as a creative.I’m thrilled to be planning ahead and investing my time in something I’m truly passionate about.
